One-Off Artist Edition | No.5 of 50
Created for the opening of Artflava Haus, Melbourne Supernova Blue is a unique variation of the original Melbourne Supernova series by Australian contemporary artist Chris Marie.
Inspired by the energy, architecture and spirit of Melbourne, this work captures the city as a living constellation of movement, culture and imagination. Vibrant blues, deep crimson skies and luminous city lights transform Melbourne’s skyline into a dreamlike landscape where memory and place collide.
While the original Melbourne Supernova edition was released as a limited series of 50, this Blue Edition No.5 was individually reworked and completed as a one-off artwork for the Artflava Haus opening collection, making it a rare collector variation within the series.
The work reflects Chris Marie’s ongoing exploration of colour, urban identity and emotional connection to place. Melbourne is not presented as a city of buildings, but as an experience. A city of stories, creativity and possibility.
