Christopher Marie has been selected to feature in our Meet the Artists initiative. We chose their artwork The Alchemist No.1 for this program from among thousands of artworks entered annually for consideration. Selection for this competitive, merit-based initiative speaks to Christopher Marie’s technical ability as a visual artist, and to the sophistication of their artistic practice, which appears distinctive and impressive.
In my capacity as a Juror of The Homiens Art Prize, and as the Director of Homiens, I found The Alchemist No.1 to be an affecting artwork, and aesthetically resolved to a high standard. Furthermore, I found Christopher’s ancillary materials to be thoughtfully considered and helpful.
In our digital correspondence, Christopher has displayed promptness and professional conduct. On this basis, I am pleased to recommend Christopher Marie.
